Public Safety Day is a fantastic, family-friendly event where our community gets an up-close look at the life-saving work of Carmel’s Fire and Police departments. We rely on incredible volunteers like you to make this day safe, fun, and smooth for thousands of local families!

Available Volunteer Roles & Key Responsibilities
Set-Up Crew (Morning Shift) 7am - 9am
- Unload event supplies and equipment.
- Assemble pop-up canopies, tables, and chairs.
- Set up directional signage and barricades.
- Direct vendors and emergency vehicles to assigned spots.
Event & Activity Support (Flexible Position) 9am - 1 pm
- Greet visitors, answer basic questions, and offer directions.
- Manage interactive zones like Spray House, Kid Zone, Dunk Tank.
- Restock water stations and monitor the grounds to keep the venue clean.
- Wipe down high-touch equipment as needed.
Tear-Down Crew (Late Afternoon Shift) 1pm - 3pm
Pack up event signage, banners, and decorations.
Disassemble canopies, tables, and chairs.
Clear leftover trash and recycling from the venue.
Load supplies back into logistics vehicles.
