Event Overview
The City of Carmel's Neighborhood Pop-Up Parties are designed to build a stronger, more connected community—one district at a time. These high-energy, one-hour events travel to different districts across the city, providing a space for neighbors to meet, chat with city officials, and enjoy their local green spaces. By bringing the party directly to the people, we celebrate the unique spirit of every Carmel neighborhood.
Choose Your Impact
- Light Event Setup: Help prepare the space at 5:00 PM by placing yard signs, setting up folding tables, and arranging the hospitality station.
- Game & Activity Lead: Set up yard games (like cornhole or giant Jenga) and actively encourage citizens to play to help break the ice between neighbors.
- Warm Welcomes: Greet neighbors as they arrive and provide them with event info or neighborhood resources.
- Light Teardown: Assist in packing up equipment at 6:30 PM and ensuring the park remains pristine.
Pick the dates and locations that work best for you! All volunteer shifts run from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (covering setup, the event, and teardown).
