The City of Carmel is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us pedal toward another successful season! If you love the outdoors, community spirit, and promoting a healthy lifestyle, we would love to have you join the Bike Carmel team for our upcoming Family Fun Ride.
Event Overview
The Family Fun Ride is a signature community event designed to get residents of all ages and skill levels out on their bicycles. Held at various parks and trailheads throughout Carmel, this event features a leisurely, police-escorted ride through our scenic neighborhoods and world-class bike paths.
Before and after the ride, the event hub buzzes with activity, including bike safety checks, refreshments, and family-friendly entertainment. It’s a low-pressure, high-energy environment dedicated to celebrating Carmel’s status as a bicycle-friendly community.
Meet at Carmel Middle School
Training: 10 min training session before shift.
LIMITED BIKE CARMEL SHIRT AVAILABLE, REGISTER EARLY
Volunteer Roles Include:
Registration & Check-in: Greeting families and distributing participation packets.
Course Marshals: Cheering on riders and providing directional guidance at key turns.
Safety Team: Assisting with helmet fittings and basic bike inspections.
Hydration Stations: Handing out water and snacks to keep our riders fueled.
