As a Diya Distributor, you are responsible for handing out the most iconic symbol of the festival: the light. Your role is to ensure every guest can participate in the "Festival of Lights" by providing them with the traditional lamps that signify the victory of light over darkness. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys warm, rhythmic interaction and wants to play a part in the festival’s most beautiful tradition.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Oversee the careful storage of clay diyas and tea lights, ensuring they are handled gently to prevent breakage.
Distribution Flow: Efficiently hand out diyas to guests as they enter or gather for ceremonies, ensuring everyone receives a lamp in a calm and orderly manner.
Safety Instruction: Provide brief, clear guidance on how to handle the lamps safely—especially if they are pre-lit or being used near clothing and decorations.
Cultural Significance: Share the meaning of the diya with curious guests, explaining how these small lamps represent knowledge, hope, and the inner light that protects us from spiritual darkness.
Station Organization: Keep the distribution trays or tables neatly arranged and aesthetic, reflecting the beauty and tradition of the holiday.
