Role Overview - Gazebo Concert Series - Bike Parking Attendant
Join Bike Carmel and the City of Carmel in making our summer concert series more sustainable and accessible! We are looking for energetic volunteers to help manage our popular bike parking area. If you love being outdoors, meeting fellow community members, and supporting a "green" Carmel, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Warm Welcomes: Greet arriving cyclists with a smile and direct them to available bike racks.
Orderly Parking: Assist with bike placement to maximize space and ensure the parking area remains tidy and secure.
Data Collection: Perform simple bike counts throughout the evening to help us track usage and improve future events.
Ambassador Vibes: Promote a bike-friendly atmosphere and chat with residents about the benefits of cycling to the Gazebo.
What We’re Looking For
A Friendly Attitude: You enjoy chatting with neighbors and helping people feel welcome.
Reliability: You can show up on time and stay for the duration of your shift.
Community Spirit: You’re passionate about (or interested in) promoting sustainable travel like biking.
Observational Skills: You’re comfortable keeping a basic count of bikes to help us gather important data.
