Are you passionate about building a stronger, more connected Carmel? The Carmel Neighborhood Association Network (CNAN) is looking for friendly, organized, and proactive volunteers to join our Host & Hospitality Team.

Event Set-Up:

Arrange seating and tables according to the meeting layout.

Organize informational packets and handouts for easy access.

Registration & Greeting:

Greet attendees with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Manage the check-in list and distribute name tags.

Meeting Support:

Act as a point of contact for basic attendee questions.

Maintain the tidiness of the hospitality station during the session.

Tear Down:

Assist in packing up materials. stacking chairs and putting tables away.

Clear the room of any leftover items to ensure the space is left in top condition.

Personality: Outgoing, helpful, and community-minded.

Reliability: Punctual for early set-up and committed to staying for the duration of the event (3 hours).

Physical Ability: Comfortable with light lifting, such as moving chairs or boxes of supplies.

Civic Pride: A genuine interest in Carmel’s neighborhoods and local government.

Valuable Networking: Build direct connections with city officials and influential neighborhood leaders from across Carmel.

Official Volunteer Carmel Polo: Represent our city in style as one of the first to wear the brand-new, official volunteer apparel.

High Impact, Low Commitment: Make a meaningful difference in a role that only requires a few hours of your time, four times per year.

The City of Carmel, in partnership with the Hamilton County Community Foundation, is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with our upcoming Nonprofit Bootcamp series. This initiative is a key component of the Arts Grant Agreement (Section 14b), ensuring that our local arts organizations have the leadership and operational tools they need to succeed.

We need proactive volunteers to ensure these high-priority training sessions run smoothly:

Event Setup: Arranging the training space, setting up signage, and organizing check-in materials.

Registration & Wayfinding: Greeting nonprofit leaders, managing the attendee list, and directing guests within the Fire Department Headquarters.

In-Session Support: Assisting with handouts and managing the refreshment area.

Event Tear Down: Tidying the room and breaking down equipment to return the facility to its original state.

Official Volunteer Polo: All volunteers will be provided with an official City of Carmel volunteer polo to wear during the event and keep afterward.

Community Connection: Network with City grant recipients, nonprofit experts, and community stakeholders.

Professional Insight: Observe high-level nonprofit training sessions free of charge.
